Raw Material Molybdenum

Aluminum particles have accurate composition and aluminum content as the basis for calculation, and the size requirement is below 3mm. If the particle size is too small, production will be safe; if it is too large, the melting reaction will be unfavorable. According to the molybdenum temperature, molybdenum content, production scale, and temperature conditions, increase the cooked amount of aluminum particles. Generally, 5-8kg is added to each batch.

Iron scale is rolled and forged iron sheet, which is an oxidant and flux for smelting.

It is converted into alloy in about 30% of the smelting reaction and becomes the source of iron in the alloy; about 70% of the iron scale enters the slag in the form of FeO, diluting the slag.

Iron sheet requirements: Fe≥68%, S≤0.05%, P≤0.035%, C≤0.30%, Cu≤0.1%. Iron scale needs to be heated and dried before use to remove moisture and grease.

It can also be used in iron ore production, but high-sulfur iron ore is rarely used in China.
