300mm Monocrystalline Dummy Silicon Wafer

Monocrystalline silicon wafers are made by growing a single crystal of silicon from a seed crystal using the Czochralski method. In this process, a small seed crystal is dipped into molten silicon and slowly pulled out while rotating, which creates a cylindrical ingot. The ingot is then sliced into thin wafers using diamond wire saws.

Monocrystalline silicon wafers are uniform and defect-free substrates made from a single crystal of silicon. They typically have a circular shape with a diameter ranging from a few millimeters to 450 mm or more, and a thickness from a few microns to several hundred microns.

Monocrystalline silicon wafers offer excellent electrical properties, including high carrier mobility, low resistance, and high dielectric strength, making them ideal for high-performance applications. They also have a high thermal conductivity and can withstand high temperatures, which is critical for device reliability.
