When using silicon carbide deoxidizer, you need to pay attention to the following matters:
Remove the oxidized slag (or remove 40%-80%). After the slag is thinned, add a small amount of carbon powder. Add the silicon carbide deoxidizer once or in batches. The slag will turn white in about 5 minutes. Stir thoroughly and analyze thoroughly. Continuously add a small amount of silicon carbide deoxidizer to the toner cartridge to maintain a reducing atmosphere.
Pay attention to adjusting the fluidity of the slag at any time during work. During the entire reduction period, add 0.05-0.1% silicon and increase carbon 0.01-0.05% (high carbon type 0.03-0.05%).
Low-temperature reduction should be avoided during the reduction period, and the temperature should be raised in the later period. If the temperature is low, slag pushing should be strengthened.
