Molybdenum Wire

The cleaned molybdenum wire is electrolytically polished molybdenum wire, with a clean, smooth, bright surface and uniform size. Mainly used for spiral wire mandrels, leads, brackets and other components.

Molybdenum is not widely used. It is mainly used in the manufacture of cathodes and anodes of vacuum tubes, brackets in tungsten filament light bulbs, etc.

In 1927, people made ultra-pure metal molybdenum with a purity of 99.999%, which was drawn into filament and used as wire for integrated circuits.

In addition, cleaned molybdenum wire EDM machines are used. In recent years, CNC EDM machines made in China use conductive metal molybdenum wires for cutting-EDM processing.

Inert gas protection in the atmosphere, molybdenum wire and tungsten wire can be prepared into high temperature thermocouples, which can measure high temperatures of 1200-2000℃.
