Blast furnace steelmaking method
Raw materials: vanadium concentrate and iron concentrate are mixed in proportion into the furnace
Process: high temperature sintering reduction → slag separation of ferrovanadium → casting cooling
Features: simple operation, but high impurity content (suitable for low-end products)
Oxide reduction method
Raw materials: vanadium/iron oxides in steel waste slag
Process: reducing gas reaction → melting purification → shaping cooling
Features: ferrovanadium purity>95%, suitable for high-end fields such as aerospace
Industrial production is dominated by calcification roasting-alkali leaching vanadium, and the vanadium recovery rate is>72%.
