1. High calcium recovery rate

In actual use, the recovery rate of solid calcium wire is higher than that of cored wire, and that of seamless metal calcium wire is higher than that of seamed wire. A domestic factory uses 1.5mm seamless metal calcium wire, and the recovery rate of SPHC steel grade is stable at more than 38%.


2. Stable calcium increase in molten steel
The core material of calcium iron wire and silicon calcium wire is calcium powder, which is prone to uneven core material and hollowness. The core material of solid pure calcium wire is a high-density pure calcium core rod, which has a higher, more uniform and more stable calcium content per unit length, ensuring a more stable calcium treatment effect.


3. More suitable for pure steel production
Solid pure calcium wire is a high-density pure calcium core rod, the quality is easy to detect, the smaller core wire specific surface area is not easy to oxidize and lose activity, so it has a longer shelf life, and can reduce the calcium oxide inclusions that pollute the molten steel to a minimum; the solid pure calcium wire calcium treatment process will not bring in other oxides existing in the powder cored wire to pollute the molten steel (for example: iron oxide in the calcium iron wire), and the solid pure calcium wire can further reduce the consumption of calcium per ton of steel and reduce the pollution of molten steel compared to the traditional powder filled cored wire.


4. Reduce the intensity of work and ensure smooth production
Calcium iron wire and silicon calcium wire are filled in powder form, and there are many uneven core materials and hollow phenomena. The wire feeding process often breaks and jams the wire, which has a certain impact on steelmaking production. Solid pure calcium wire is a high-density solid pure calcium rod wrapped in a thick steel shell. The wire is hard, does not slip or deviate during wire feeding, and the operation is very smooth. In addition, the single coil of solid pure calcium wire is about 1 times longer than that of calcium iron wire, and the amount used is less. The number of furnaces used for a single coil of solid pure calcium wire is 4 times that of calcium iron wire. Therefore, the use of solid pure calcium wire not only makes the wire feeding operation very smooth, but also greatly reduces the number of threading times, and significantly reduces the work intensity of workers.
