Applications of tungsten alloy rods
Tungsten alloy rods are used in end mill extensions, spindles, tool holders, grinding sleeves and boring bars.
We can make heavier cuts at faster speeds. Due to its high thermal conductivity (three times that of steel!), tools run cooler, extending tool life and reducing downtime, and because of their very high density, tungsten alloy rods are becoming increasingly popular with the public.
It does not anneal during the brazing process, so carbide or tool holders and extensions can be brazed directly without affecting physical properties.
it has higher density
it is easy to process
Not easily chipped and broken
Lower material and finishing costs
In addition, according to its special properties, tungsten alloy rods are widely processed into:
Parts for radiation shielding, vial shielding and syringe shielding
billets and barrels
welding electrode
Tungsten alloy strip is widely processed into:
Tungsten alloy ejector pin for aircraft
Counterweights and balancing of aircraft or oil well logging equipment
