What is the difference between high carbon silicon and ferrosilicon?
‌Ferrosilicon‌: mainly composed of iron and silicon, the common specification is 72 ferrosilicon (silicon content ≥ 72%), containing a small amount of carbon, aluminum and other elements.
‌High carbon silicon‌: silicon content 65%-70%, carbon content 1%-2%, with both the deoxidation ability of silicon and the alloying effect of carbon.
