What Is A Graphite Electrode?

What is a graphite electrode?

Graphite electrode is a man-made graphite conductive material, which is made of petroleum coke and asphalt coke as aggregates and coal tar as binder through multiple processes.

Compared with natural graphite electrodes, graphite electrodes have higher high temperature resistance.

Anti-oxidation graphite electrode is a graphite electrode with an anti-oxidation protective layer coated on the surface, which can reduce electrode consumption during steelmaking, extend the service life of the electrode, and reduce the power consumption of the electrode.
