Ferrosilicon pellets are an alloy of two elements, silicon and iron, with the chemical symbol FeSi. where the silicon content is usually between 70% 75%, while the iron content is between 20% 25%. In addition, ferrosilicon pellets may contain a number of other impurity elements such as manganese, chromium, molybdenum, nickel and vanadium.
