Green silicon carbide is suitable for processing cemented carbide, glass, ceramics and non-metallic materials, as well as semiconductor materials, high-temperature silicon carbide heating elements, far-infrared external substrate, etc. Green silicon carbide takes petroleum coke and high-quality silicon dioxide as the main raw materials, adds salt as the additive, and is smelted by resistance furnace at high temperature. The crystal is of high purity and hardness. Its hardness is between corundum and diamond, and its mechanical strength is higher than corundum. The manufacturing method of black silicon carbide and green silicon carbide is used. However, it requires high purity of raw materials. It is also formed in a resistance furnace at a high temperature of 2200 ℃. It is green, translucent and hexagonal. Its silicon carbide content is high, and its physical properties are similar to black silicon carbide, but the black property is slightly brittle, and it also has good thermal conductivity and electrical properties.
