Overview of pure nickel rod

Pure nickel is a silvery white metal with a density of 8.9g/cm3 and a melting point of 1453℃. It has excellent corrosion resistance because its surface is oxidized at room temperature to form a dense and strong protective film; pure nickel has excellent welding and processing properties and can be processed into products such as tubes, rods, wires, plates, strips, and foils.

Pure nickel materials have good corrosion resistance in NaOH solutions of any concentration and temperature and in molten NaOH above 400℃. Pure nickel materials have good corrosion resistance to Na2O2, Na2CO3, NaHCO3, and alkaline solutions or molten liquids containing KNO3.
