How to melt molybdenum electrode rods?
To melt molybdenum electrode rods, you first need to prepare melting equipment and materials, including furnaces, graphite crucibles, fuels, molybdenum electrode rods, etc. Next, follow the steps below to melt:
1. Put the graphite crucible into the furnace and make sure that the temperature of the furnace can reach the melting point of molybdenum (about 2620 degrees Celsius).
2. Place the molybdenum electrode rod in a graphite crucible, and then add an appropriate amount of smelting aid (usually aluminum oxide or sodium oxide) to help increase the melting temperature and reduce adhesion.

5. Once the molybdenum electrode rod is completely melted and the melt reaches the required purity and composition, the furnace can be closed and the melt can be poured into a mold for cooling and solidification.
6. After waiting for the melt to cool, take out the cooled and solidified molybdenum electrode rod and perform necessary subsequent treatment and processing to obtain the final product.
