Regional price differences are significant
Henan production area: P24 ferrophosphorus ex-factory price including tax is 2300-2800 yuan/ton, affected by the linkage of scrap steel prices (Tangshan scrap steel 2600 yuan/ton pushes up costs).
Yunnan production area: The price is stable at 2500-2600 yuan/ton, because the cost of low-grade phosphate ore raw materials is relatively low (Yunnan 22% grade ore is only 410-430 yuan/ton).
Cost driving factors
Phosphate ore quality: High-grade ore (P₂O₅≥30%) has an ex-factory price of about 600 yuan/ton, which is 15%-20% higher than the production cost of low-grade ore (18%-22%).
