What are the uses of vanadium pentoxide?
Vanadium pentoxide is used as a catalyst in different industrial processes: In contact processes it is used to oxidize SO2 to SO3 with oxygen at 440°C.

In addition, it is used in the oxidation of ethanol to acetaldehyde and the production of phthalic anhydride, polyamide, oxalic acid and other products.
