Production process of silicon carbide

3. Silicon carbide electric furnace preparation: electric furnace preparation is to repair and finish the last used furnace, so as to be put into use again. The operation includes cleaning the bottom of the furnace, trimming the electrodes, cleaning and repairing the furnace wall, checking and removing other defects of the furnace. 

4. Furnace loading: Furnace loading is to fill the furnace with reaction material, insulation material and core material according to the specified type, position and size of the charge, and build the side wall of the melting furnace with insulation and material holding. 

5, electric smelting silicon carbide: smelting furnace and transformer can be connected after the power supply. After 15min of power transmission, the open flame is put in to ignite CO, and the smelting process lasts 170h. 

6, cooling: silicon carbide smelting furnace after the furnace stop for natural cooling, and then pickpocking (unloading furnace wall, stripping material), continue to carry out natural cooling. 

7, oven classification: silicon carbide oven classification is from the furnace to take off the crystallization block, graphite, and the product, graphite and other separate process. Silicon carbide out of the furnace classification method, manually split the crystallization cylinder, the bulk of the crystallization cylinder is transported to the classification field for artificial classification.
