Smelting operations to produce Femo60

Introduction to the process of producing Femo60 by outside-furnace method - smelting operation
Charge preparation
The furnace charge must be processed into a suitable particle size, and then dried and batched according to the batching ratio. Accurate weighing of the charge is a prerequisite to ensure normal smelting. The order of weighing is hydrated molybdenum ore, saltpeter, aluminum granules, iron scale, ferrosilicon, steel filings, and fluorite. The weighed furnace materials are put into the mixer for mixing. The mixing time is about 8 minutes. The evenly mixed furnace materials are put into the polymer hopper.
The batching work is a very careful job that does not allow for the slightest error. The batching personnel must be focused and have a strong sense of responsibility. Use electronic automatic control devices as much as possible.
Fire prevention should be strictly enforced during batching. Due to the flammable and explosive nature of the charge, strict fire prevention measures are required. The mixing process must have strict closed smoke exhaust and dust removal facilities.
