How to solve the welding problem of titanium steel composite plate
1) When welding the titanium layer, argon gas with a purity of not less than 99.99% must be used as the protective gas. In addition, cracks and interlayers are not allowed in the welding wire.
2) Carefully clean and process the welding area of the workpiece before welding. When the ambient temperature is lower than 5℃, the base steel surface should be preheated by flame.
3) For titanium steel composite plate equipment, the titanium welding seam processing technology is strip processing, that is, the titanium layer within 15mm of the edge of the composite plate is removed, the steel welding seam is welded first, and then the steel welding seam is completely covered with a 50mm wide titanium strip. , welding the titanium layer while protecting with argon gas.
4) For micro-cracks on the surface of the composite panel, the defects must be removed before repair welding. For small cracks, direct repair welding can be used.
5) For non-fitting found during the production and final inspection process, if the area is large, the material must be replaced. If the area is small, remediation can be used. The non-bonding area can be reinforced with titanium rivets, and as few rivets as possible.
