Titanium Seamless Pipes manufacturing process

The manufacturing process of Titanium Welded Tube involves several key steps, each of which plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of the final product. From the extraction of the titanium sponge to the meticulous final touches, every stage is carefully planned to create the highest quality Titanium Pipe.

Melting titanium

To begin this complex process, the first step is to obtain titanium sponge. This is no simple task as it requires a complex extraction process from naturally occurring titanium ore. Once the titanium sponge is obtained, it undergoes a meticulous purification process to remove any impurities. Only in this way can the purified titanium sponge be melted. A high-temperature furnace is used to convert titanium sponge into titanium melt, laying the foundation for subsequent production.

Titanium Alloy Pipe blank forming

The molten titanium block is then cast into titanium ingots, which serve as the raw material for forming Titanium Pipeline blanks. The casting process involves carefully pouring molten titanium into a mold and waiting patiently for it to solidify. The resulting titanium ingot is then subjected to hot working processes, such as rolling or forging, to further refine its shape and size. In some cases, cold working processes, such as cold rolling or forging, can also be used to obtain the required properties of the tube blank.

Extruded Pure Titanium Seamless Pipe

Once the Titanium Pipe Fittings blank is ready, it is loaded into the extruder, allowing for the true artistry of Titanium Heating Pipe manufacturing. The blank is heated to a specific temperature to make it more malleable. The heated blank is then pushed through the mold using hydraulic pressure as a guiding force to form a continuous Exhaust Titanium Pipe. This extrusion process is carefully executed to ensure the precise dimensions and required mechanical properties of the tube.

Cold drawn Titanium Square Tube

After extrusion, the Titanium Pipe Bending is annealed to eliminate internal stress and improve its ductility. The annealed tubes are then used in a cold drawing process, a true testament to the skill and craftsmanship of the craftsmen involved. The tube is pulled through a series of dies, gradually reducing its diameter and wall thickness while increasing its length. This meticulous process improves the pipe's mechanical properties and surface finish, ensuring it meets the required specifications with the highest precision.

Heat treatment and finishing

After the cold drawing process, the Titanium Round Tube undergoes phase change heat treatment to further enhance its mechanical properties. This involves subjecting the tubes to controlled heating and cooling cycles, carefully designed to achieve the desired microstructure and hardness. After the heat treatment is completed, the pipe enters the final stage of production. Machining and finishing processes are used to meet the required dimensions and surface quality without leaving any defects. Strict quality control and inspection procedures are implemented to ensure that Titanium Pipe Bending meet the highest standards, guaranteeing their excellence and reliability in a variety of applications.
