High temperature molybdenum rod
Leave a message
The surface of the high-temperature molybdenum rod has a silver-gray metallic luster and is oil-immersed. Commonly used specifications are Ø (15~30) × L (250~800) mm. It can be divided into GMHLM.2 and GMHYM.3 according to its chemical composition and use.

GMHLM.2 is a high-temperature lanthanum-molybdenum rod doped with an appropriate amount of La2O3. It is mainly used as a raw material for the production of high-strength wire-cut molybdenum wire, high-temperature electric heating elements and electric light sources.

GMHYM.3 is a high-temperature yttrium-molybdenum rod doped with a certain amount of yttrium. It is mainly used as a raw material for electric vacuum devices, electric light source materials and high-temperature furnaces, as well as for the production of high-temperature material structural parts.

High-temperature molybdenum rods are mainly packed in wooden boxes or cartons. The wooden boxes or cartons are equipped with grooved foam boards to protect the molybdenum rods and prevent damage during transportation.

In addition, moisture and collision should be avoided during storage or transportation, and stored in a ventilated, dry, acid-free atmosphere to prevent oxidation. The storage period should not exceed six months.
