Products Description
Ferrovanadium is mainly used in smelting alloy steel. For example, it has a wide range of applications in spring steel, bearing steel and cast iron. Ferrovanadium contains more than 50% vanadium and is refined in an electric furnace. Various compounds of vanadium are widely used as catalysts in the chemical industry.
Structural steel containing vanadium is widely used in the aviation industry, tractor industry and railway transportation industry. Vanadium steel is also used in the manufacture of springs and springs. Vanadium content in high-quality tool steel can reach more than 2%. The presence of vanadium improves the cutting performance of steel and ensures the stability of the structure at high temperatures.
The reason why vanadium is so widely used in the steel industry is that vanadium can form stable carbides with carbon in steel, which can refine the structure and grains of steel and increase the temperature at which grains are coarsened. Therefore, adding a small amount of vanadium to steel can significantly improve the performance of steel, greatly improving the strength, toughness, wear resistance, ability to withstand impact loads and corrosion resistance of steel.

Ferrovanadium is supplied in blocks; the weight of the first block shall not exceed 8kg, and the fragments passing through the 10mm*10mm sieve shall not exceed 3% of the total weight of the batch.
