When added to crude steel, iron vanadium produces products with light weight and extremely high tensile strength and wear resistance. The low silicon and low aluminum in iron vanadium are used in vacuum melting aerospace applications. Iron vanadium is a kind of universal hardener, fortifying agent and anti-corrosion additive, which is composed of iron and vanadium. Iron vanadium is used in the manufacture of rail steel, die steel and heat-resistant tools. Therefore, the growing transportation sector and strong demand for manufactured axles, body frames, and crankshafts are likely to drive the growth of the market size of ferrovanadium during the forecast period.
