As a high-purity carbon material, it has characteristics of high fixed carbon content, low sulfur, low ash, low porosity etc.It can be used as carbon raiser (Recarburizer) to produce high quality steel,cast iron and alloy.It can also be used in plastic and rubber as an additive.

1. Silicon slag can be used as a substitute for silicon metal.
2. The added amount of silicon used in blast furnace and cupola is 30%~50%, and the added amount of deoxidized silicon used in steelmaking is 50%~70%.
3. The silicon briquette produced with silicon slag has a broad application prospect in the foreign market.
4. Silicon slag is a good substitute for ferrosilicon in steelmaking, which has the advantage of reducing production cost.
