Description
Ferrosilicon 72 from ZhenAn is an iron alloy composed of iron and silicon. Ferrosilicon is a ferrosilicon alloy, which is made by fusing coke, steel slag and quartz (or silicon dioxide) in an electric furnace. Since silicon and oxygen are easily synthesized in silicon dioxide, iron-silicon is often used as a deoxidizer in the steelmaking process.
