Ferro silicon zirconium alloys have high permeability. Permeability is an important index to measure the magnetic properties of materials. The higher it is, the better the magnetic properties of materials are. The permeability of ferrosilicone-zirconium alloy is usually between 1.2~ 1.8mH /m, much higher than that of common motor materials such as ferritic steel and NdFeb. High permeability means that the ferrosilicone-zirconium alloy is better able to guide the flux, making the magnetic circuit of the motor more smooth and thus improving the efficiency of the motor.
Ferro silicon zirconium alloys have low reluctance. Reluctance refers to the degree of obstruction of the material to the magnetic flux, the smaller the obstruction, the easier the magnetic flux through. Ferrosilicone-zirconium alloys typically have reluctance between 10 and 20 mΩ·cm, much lower than common motor materials. The low reluctance means that the ferrosilicone-zirconium alloy is better able to guide the flux, making the magnetic circuit of the motor more smooth and further improving the efficiency of the motor.

Ferro silicon zirconium alloy has low magnetization loss. Magnetization loss refers to the energy loss caused by domain reversal and hysteresis under the action of alternating magnetic field. The magnetization loss of ferrosilicone-zirconium alloys is usually between 0.3 and 0.5 W/kg, much lower than that of common motor materials such as silicon steel. The low magnetization loss means that the ferrosilicone-zirconium alloy is better able to keep the flux stable, reducing energy loss and further improving the efficiency of the motor.
