The crystal structure of iron niobium has good electrical conductivity. Ferroniobium belongs to the cubic crystal system and has a face-centered cubic structure, in which the iron atom is the central atom of the face-centered cubic lattice, and the niobium atom occupies the vertex position of the face-centered cubic lattice. This structure has a high degree of symmetry, causing the electrons to move in the same direction throughout the crystal, thus improving their conductivity.
The electronic structure of iron niobium is stable. The electron structure of ferroniobium alloy is stable, and the orbitals of the valence electron layer are completely filled, which is not easy to occur electron transfer or electron mutual attraction and repulsion.
