The difference between aluminum-calcium cored wire and calcium-iron wire is that they have different materials, different uses, and different characteristics.
1. Different materials: The conductor of alumino-calcium cored wire is aluminum alloy, and the insulating layer is calcium-silicate glass. The conductor of calcium iron cable is copper or aluminum, and the insulation layer is rubber or plastic.
2. Different uses: Aluminum-calcium cored wire is mainly used for power transmission and distribution lines, while calcium-iron cable is mainly used for electrical equipment and lighting circuits inside buildings.
3. Different characteristics: Aluminum-calcium cored wire has high electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance, as well as better tensile strength and heat resistance. Calcium iron cables have better flexibility and wear resistance.
Seamless calcium wire technology can improve the absorption of calcium during the steelmaking process, reduce the cost of calcium feeding wires, and is better suitable for smelting refined steel products. Al2O3 and calcium in molten steel form large liquid inclusions after treatment, which makes it easier to float. Seamless calcium wire technology reduces nozzle clogging caused by excessive Al2O3 in molten steel and improves the pourability of molten steel.
Inspection standards for seamless metallic calcium cored wires
1.Chemical composition of calcium core:
Ca≥97%
2. Nominal diameter of cored wire: 9.0~9.0+0.6mm; steel strip thickness: 1.0±0.05mm;
3. Core-clad wire meter weight requirements: calcium core weight ≥52g/m, steel strip weight ≤210g/m
4. The steel strip should be degreased and rust-free before coating. The calcium core should be kept dry and not allowed to be mixed with other magazines. The core-spun wire should be tightly wrapped, with no core leakage, no seams, no seams, no false wrapping, and no oil or rust on the surface.
