The core wire can be more effectively added to molten steel or molten iron in the process of steelmaking or casting, and the core wire can be inserted into the ideal position through professional wire feeding equipment. When the skin of the core wire melts, the core can be fully dissolved in the ideal position and produce chemical reaction, effectively avoiding the reaction with air and slag, and improving the absorption rate of smelting materials. Widely used as deoxidizer, desulfurizer, alloy additive, can change the shape of molten steel inclusions, effectively improve the quality of steelmaking casting products.
Another cored thread is a sewing thread with a filament as the core and covered with natural fibers. The strength of the cored wire depends on the core, while the wear and heat resistance depend on the outer yarn. Therefore, the core thread is suitable for high-speed sewing, and the need for high sewing firm clothing.
The core wire is made of steel strip with alloy powder. According to the different alloy powder, it can be divided into: silicon calcium core wire, silicon manganese calcium wire, silicon calcium barium wire, barium aluminum wire, aluminum calcium wire, calcium wire, pure calcium wire and so on. The winding looks like a coil.
Spherical cored wire is a product of strip steel coated with strip alloy powder. Due to the difference of coating powder, it can be divided into different uses. Steelmaking core-wire is often used as a deoxidizer, desulfurizer or carbon additive, such as CaSi ball core-wire can be used as a deoxidizer and desulfurizer in steelmaking agent. Carbon ball coated core wire can be used as a carbon additive in steelmaking and casting. FeSiMg core wire can be used as a nodulation agent in castings.
Product parameters
The general data for steelmaking core-wire is the weight of the strip per meter and the weight of the powder per meter. The thickness of the ball core wire is usually 0.6mm, and the weight of the strip is always 170g/m weight, and different alloys will have different data. For example, the CaSi6030 and CaSi5528 core wires weigh 230g/m, while the CaFe core wires weigh 215g/mm and the carbon core wires weigh about 150g/m.
