Calcium silicon core wire feeding technology is a kind of off-furnace refining method, which has been widely used in modern steel smelting wire feeding technology in recent years. The use of alloy core-clad wire in steelmaking can purify molten steel, change the shape of inclusions, improve the castability and mechanical properties of molten steel, significantly increase the yield of ferroalloy, reduce the cost of steelmaking, and achieve remarkable economic results. The welding wire process has greater advantages than the direct connection of powder spraying and gold blocks.
Alloy core is an intelligent alloying solution for secondary metallurgy. It enables precise control of metal composition during ladle handling to produce ultra-clean quality steel and efficient use of plant equipment. Our cores feature a well-defined powder, an alloy of deoxidizer and desulfurizer, encased in a steel sheath, where the weight and uniform distribution of the powder per meter along the entire length are well controlled. Wire injection technology: The use of specially designed wire feeders in ladle furnaces, ladle stations or tundish ladles for wire injection in full ladle. The core wire is injected into the bottom of the ladle at the desired speed through the feed machine. The powder will eventually disperse as the steel wire sheath melts and react with the liquid steel. Thus, the following treatments will be achieved :• desulfurization, deoxidation and alloying. Improve the shape and machinability of steel. • Refining to obtain clean steel with low oxygen and sulfur content. • Improve isotropic properties of steel. • Add alloying elements to accurately correct the chemical composition of the steel.
