The reason why this spheroidization method has been widely promoted and applied is that it has the following advantages compared with the spheroidization by the rushing method:
The spheroidizing method of flushing method is to put the spheroidizing agent at the bottom of the ladle, and the spheroidizing agent is melted by the molten iron when the iron is tapped to spheroidize the molten iron, because the specific gravity of the spheroidizing agent is 3-4kg/m3, which is lighter than the molten iron The specific gravity is 7.5kg/m3.
Therefore, a part of the nodulizer has been floating in the slag before melting. When spheroidizing by flushing method, the absorption rate of spheroidizing agent is about 40%-50%. The use of "cored wire" to feed silk spheroidization is to wrap the pure magnesium nodulizer with a steel belt, process it into a wire shape and coil it for use, which is called "cored wire".
When spheroidizing, use the wire feeding machine to directly insert the "cored wire" into the original molten iron whose composition has been adjusted in the spheroidizing ladle for spheroidizing reaction. This kind of wire feeding spheroidizing, the absorption rate of the spheroidizing agent can reach 90% %above.
Using the flushing method for spheroidizing, 15kg-18kg of spheroidizing agent is required per ton of molten iron. Using "cored wire" to feed silk balls, each ton of molten iron requires 25m of "cored wire", about 10kg.

The spheroidizing ladle is driven by machinery, and the ladle is manually shaken to turn the molten iron into the fan-shaped ladle, which consumes a certain amount of mechanical spare parts and increases the labor intensity of the workers. As for feeding the spheroidized ladle, it is the crane worker himself who cooperates with the auxiliary hook to turn the molten iron into the fan-shaped ladle.
