Description
Calcined petroleum coke (CPC) is a high-purity carbon material produced by heating green petroleum coke to drive off moisture, volatile matter, and impurities and to increase its electrical conductivity. The calcination process removes moisture and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the petroleum coke, leaving a high-carbon material that is denser, more electrically conductive, and less reactive than the original feedstock.
