2) The density and mechanical strength of calcined petroleum coke is improved. The true density of the calcined coke affects the true density of the final product. The poor mechanical strength and the low bulk density affect the molding mainly due to difficulty in molding. The height of the green agglomerate cannot meet the requirements within the required time and affects the operation of the aluminum electrolytic cell. The main manifestation is slag drop.
