Description
CPC is produced by calcining, or heating, green petroleum coke to temperatures between 1200 and 1400 degrees Celsius, in a rotary kiln. The process removes moisture, volatile matter, and impurities from the green coke, and transforms it into a high-quality carbon material with a low ash content and high electrical conductivity. The resulting CPC is then crushed, screened, and sized to meet customer specifications.
